AAUI supports the OJK idea to form the Fund Giant Re. According to the Chairman of AAUI, Ahmad Fauzi Darwis, Fund Giant Re is needed to be established although it will be operated by giant reinsurance company of merge result, thus the insurance company may choose which one is better.
Fund Re Giant will serve as reinsurance but with larger scope, technically an
insurance company shall put amount of managed funds that can be used as assurance.
